Curry tuna salad, grapes, walnuts, green apples, cheddar, provolone, toasted bread crumbs

Recipe

Ingredients: 1 ball of dough flour for dusting

semolina flour for pizza stone olive oil salt & pepper shredded cheddar shredded provolone 1-2 Granny Smith apples, cored & sliced thinly ¼ cup panko bread crumbs

For the tuna salad: 2 6-ounce cans white meat tuna packed in water, drained 3 tablespoons minced red onion 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro 1/3 cup purple grapes, halved 1 teaspoon curry powder 3 tablespoons mayonnaise 3 tablespoons Greek yogurt (if you want to simplify this, you could do just mayo or just yogurt) squirt of lime juice ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard 2 tablespoons chopped pickles ½ cup walnuts, roughly chopped salt & pepper to taste

Directions: Preheat your oven to 550° F. To make the tuna salad, just combine all the ingredients in a bowl, breaking up the tuna slightly with a fork. You’ll probably want to taste some before you put it on the pizza, because this is truly a delicious tuna salad recipe. Maybe even make extra for sandwiches. Anyway.

When your oven is hot, you can start preparing your dough using the instructions here. Once you’ve baked it for a minute, take it out and brush it lightly with olive oil.

Sprinkle a bit of the cheese on the dough, then spoon out the tuna salad mixture in an even layer. Top with the apple slices and some more cheese, followed by the bread crumbs.

Pop it in the oven and bake until the cheese has melted and the crust is golden brown, and the bread crumbs are nice and toasty. Then take it out and enjoy!

HOW TO PREPARE DOUGH

#1

Start stretching it from the center, then move it around in a circle so that gravity stretches it and creates a natural crust. It helps to put some olive oil on your hands first.

#2

Place the dough on your floured surface & push it out with your fingertips until it's the size of your pizza stone. You can fold over the edges to create an extra fluffy crust.

#3

When the oven is hot (preheat it with the stone inside), sprinkle some semolina flour on the pizza stone and place your dough on it.

#4

Bake it for about a minute, or until it starts to bubble, then take it out. This last step isn't 100% necessary, but I feel like it adds a little extra crispiness to the crust.
